Born on March 30, 1955 in Zagreb where he finished primary school, graduated from high-school and the ''Academy of Theatre, Film and TV''. Started doing amateur work in the theatre in 1972 in the famous ''PiK'' (today Zagreb Youth Theatre) with the exceptional pedagogist and director, Mrs. Zvjezdana Ladika and at that time he definitely decided to pursue a professional career in acting. In 1975 he enrolled on the Academy, which he graduated from in 1979 and thanks to his exceptional diploma paper ''The Salem Witches'', where he played John Proctor, he got hired and became a full-time member of Gavella Theatre's ensemble.
UheHe has so far, in Gavella, performed in a great number of roles in many well-known productions.

Former member of Ivica Boban's theatre troup ''Pozdravi'', with whom he visited many famous world theatre festivals. Also performed at numerous Dubrovnik Summer Festivals and Split Summer Festivals. Performed in almost all of the theatres in Zagreb. Made about ten movies and as many TV dramas.
Worked at the loading and the unloading of trucks; was a driver of a forklift truck and a truck; worked as a storage-keeper.
